Kitchen islands are the gathering place and workspace for many kitchens.  We craft a strong and durable barstool that is perfect for a growing family or hosting guests.  The pictured stools are made from dark walnut and have two optional elements:
saddle-style seats for extra comfort;
footrests on both sides, making them reversible and perfect for kids who like to  “climb up” (without breaking a typical smaller chair stretcher!)
 
The stools are 24” tall for kitchen counters and the seats are approximately  19” wide by 15” deep by 1-1/2” thick.   We can create mixed wood stools as pictured in the listing titled “Standard Barstool”.  We typically using oak for the base components and  a complimentary wood for the seat (cherry, walnut, maple, etc…).  Seats can also be crafted with live edges along the long dimension, given availability of materials.  Our seats are typically constructed of 3-4 pieces of grain-matched wood; if you are interested in one-piece seats, please reach out to us and we can advise as to the availability/price of that specific material in the necessary size.  Comfort Barstools start at $500 depending on the wood species selected.
