Sawhorse style footstool made from white oak with an integrated maple bridge and ambrosia maple legs. As with the other stools made by the Woodshed, this stool is very sturdy and quite strong. The width of the legs at the floor is slightly wider than the width of the top (about 11 1/2"), making for a more stable piece. It's perfect for a sitting stool in a kids room, or a display/support piece in living areas.
The maple legs are about 1" thick, while the top oak pieces are approximately 3/4" thick. The maple bridge is a solid block that measures roughly 1 3/4" wide and 3" deep. The top pieces are joined together using 'wood biscuits' glued into slots, resulting in an exceedingly strong stool.
We have two of these stools in stock; you will notice there are pictures of the top of each stool showing the beautiful white oak grain. If you prefer one stool over the other, just include a note with your order and we will confirm via email which stool to send you!
